Macarthur Heights
Our Client
Gaul and Gloria, along with their two young children, purchased a block of land in Macarthur Heights, Campbelltown. Their current home had become too small and no longer met the needs of their growing family. Since they both work in the Macarthur area and love living there, staying local was a top priority for them.
Gaul and Gloria envisioned a large, modern home that perfectly suited their lifestyle and growing family. They dreamed of creating a space that would not only accommodate their children's needs but also serve as a welcoming haven for guests.
Entertaining was a priority for them, so their plans included a spacious, open-plan living area filled with natural light. They also wanted a pool integrated into the landscape, offering a perfect spot for relaxation and fun.
One of their favourite features was the master suite overlooking the serene bushland across the road, providing a peaceful and picturesque backdrop to their everyday life.
Gaul and Gloria had purchased a large block of land in Macarthur Heights, Campbelltown. It was crucial for them to find a builder who could not only assist with the home's design but also manage its construction. After speaking with several builders who didn't quite meet their expectations, they realised that the slope of their land presented unique challenges that required a custom design and a builder who felt comfortable working with this challenging site.
Many of the homes they looked through didn't suit the steep incline of their property. This made it clear that they needed a custom home builder who could handle the specific engineering and design requirements of their site. Gaul spoke to a work colleague who had recently built a home with Highwater Homes and couldn't praise their experience enough. Encouraged by this glowing recommendation, Gaul decided to reach out.
We worked closely with Gaul and Gloria to bring their vision of a forever home to life. The house design was meticulously crafted to integrate seamlessly with the slope of their land, resulting in a unique layout spread across four different levels. This design included a private space downstairs for guests, complete with their own bathroom, and a large office/study that offered stunning views of the peaceful bushland, making it an ideal space for working from home.
To ensure Gaul and Gloria were fully involved in the building process, we coordinated site visits that fit their schedules. Even with they were unable to make it to site, they could easily follow the progress of the build through photos uploaded to their personal online client portal. This portal also made it simple for them to share updates with family and friends.
Gaul and Gloria particularly enjoyed their on-site meetings, which allowed them to see their home take shape in person. These visits were a highlight for them, providing a tangible connection to their dream home as it came together step by step.
The Result
Handover day was an incredibly exciting moment for Gaul and Gloria as they walked into their completed home for the first time. As they explored each level, they were in awe of how perfectly their vision had come to life.
As a team, Highwater Homes work amazingly well, all of the team members were all so very responsive and professional. They were accessible and helped with both providing reassurance when it was needed, and guidance when it was sought. Nothing we ever needed clarifying was too much to ask, and they were all proactive in helping us. It was only natural that there would be unexpected design changes throughout the building process, and the feedback we received from the team was on point. It cannot be stressed enough just how critical this was, in helping us go from seeing our house on paper to it evolving into a place we're now glad to call home.
